Rotating Planets

 

 

Software: Photoshop and After Effects

The galaxy background was created in Photoshop and brought into Adobe After Effects. The planets were made in Adobe After Effects. To get the cloudy atmosphere look of the planet; fractal noise was added to a layer. Next the triton effect was added to make the planets have unique colored clouds. To get the planet shape and shadows; the effect CC Sphere was used. Also the rotation of the planet was created using keyframes and the rotation effect that was within the CC Sphere effect. Lastly to get some of the stars to animate I used the effect CC particle world.
