I created this in Maya for fun. I started by making a polygon cube. From there I scaled the cube to about the height and width I wanted it. Then to create its unique shape I added edge loops and scaled the edges to get the shape. I also used the cube and scaled the edges and vertices to create the window ledges, rocks, chimney, shingles/roof, and the earth under the house. To make the door and window shape I brought in the pipe tool make the edges thinner, deleted half, then extruded the bottom edges downwards, added edge loops at the bottom, then extruded the bottom of the door frame across and attached it to the face of the other side if the door frame, and duplicated it and scaled it smaller for the window frames. The door and windows were created with a plane that I added edge loops to and scaled them inward to the shape of the door and window frames. Once everything was created and smoothed I added color by going into the hypershade menu and creating multiple lambert shader nodes. After making making them all different colors I assigned them to the different elements in the house.
